English Premier League side Fulham has signed Alvaro Arbeloa as the club’s head coach in the wake of Marco Silva’s exit to Benfica.
The London side confirmed that the former Spain international has signed a three year deal as the head coach with the contract set to run until June 2029.
Arbeloa is coming off a brief head coaching stint with Real Madrid after taking over midway through the season following Xabi Alonso’s dismissal. In his first official presser, the 2010 FIFA World Cup winner said,
“It is a real honour for me to be embarking on this new stage at Fulham FC, the oldest club in London. I am really looking forward to experiencing the atmosphere at Craven Cottage with Fulham fans and beginning pre-season with the players next week. I am sure we are going to enjoy an incredible journey together.”

Fulham finished 11th in the 2025-2026 EPL standings under Marco Silva.
