The agent of basketball superstar LeBron James- Rich Paul- says his client won’t be rushed into making a decision regarding the team he plays for in the 2026-2027 NBA season.
He said this on his Game Over podcast as the wait continues for unrestricted free agent LeBron James to announce the team signs for after an eight year run with the Los Angeles Lakers ended after the 2025-2026 season.
James’ free agency watch has generated a ton of buzz with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver chiming in by calling for the four time NBA champion to make his decision so the schedule for the upcoming season can be released. “We’re not going to be rushed. We’re not going to be rushed. It’s his-LeBron James- choice to make and when he makes the choice, he’ll make it.”
“I saw Adam [Silver] in New York and we discussed it and like I said, it’s still his choice. So if he doesn’t really know, you can’t rush it. You can’t rush it” Paul said.
Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia Sixers are widely regarded as LeBron’s biggest admirers.
