Ghanaian midfielder Fatawu Ganiwu has completed his move to Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kyiv, signing a three-year contract with the club.
The talented youngster joins from Ghanaian side AS Koppan FC after attracting interest from several prominent European clubs, including Chelsea, Red Bull Salzburg, RC Lens, Brentford and Bournemouth.
Ganiwu shot into the international spotlight during the April 2023 UEFA U-16 Invitational Tournament in Serbia. He anchored the midfield as Ghana’s Black Starlets defeated host Serbia, Spain, and Switzerland to win the competition.
Ganiwu has represented Ghana at both Under-17 and Under-20 level and had opportunities to train and undergo trials with some of Europe’s top clubs before securing his move to Dynamo Kyiv.

Joining one of Ukraine’s most successful clubs is expected to give Ganiwu valuable exposure to European football as he continues his progression at both club and international level.
