Black Stars midfielder Kwasi Sibo is set to join Libyan Football side Al-Swehly with the move subject to a completed medical before becoming official.
The medical will reportedly be conducted later on Monday, August 24 and will sign a three year deal.
The 28 year old is scheduled to be added to the club’s roster that will compete in the CAF Champions League after winning last season’s Libyan League title.
The reigning Libyan Champions have been drawn to play against Zanzibar’s KVZ in the preliminary round of the Champions League on September 5 in Libya with the reverse leg set for September 12.
Joining Al-Swehly comes on the back of Sibo competing for Real Oviedo in the Spanish La Liga in the 2025-2026 season that had Oviedo suffer relegation to the Spanish Segunda.

Sibo played 26 games for Oviedo in all competitions last season and registered no goals or assists while picking up three yellow cards and one red card.

He played in all four games with Ghana at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
