Ghana defender David Oduro has secured a move from FC Barcelona to French Ligue 2 side FC Annecy; the deal was confirmed on Saturday, August 22.
The 20 year old joined the French side on a two year loan deal after spending the past two seasons at Barcelona’s junior side. His contract includes a sell on fee-for Barcelona- clause.
“The Club would like to thank the player for his dedication and professionalism over the last two seasons and wishes him all the best for the future both on and off the field” a section of the statement from FC Barcelona read.
Prior to moving to Barcelona, Oduro featured in the Ghana Premier League for Accra Lions and will continue his development with Annecy.
With Barcelona’s Under 19 side (Barca Atletic) Oduro scored once in 33 games in all competitions including games in the UEFA Youth League.

Annecy rank fourth in the Ligue 2 and are scheduled to play against Reims on Monday, August 24.
