Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says the club remains active in the transfer market and could sign more players before the window closes.
Arteta made the comments after Arsenal’s pre-season defeat to Borussia Dortmund, where new signing Bruno Guimaraes was unveiled at the Emirates Stadium.
The 28-year-old Brazilian midfielder joined Arsenal from Newcastle United for a reported $101.2 million fee as Arteta looks to strengthen his midfield.
Arsenal had also been linked with Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr, but the Brazilian recently signed a new long-term contract with the Spanish club.
With the transfer window still open, Arteta hinted that Arsenal are not finished with their recruitment.

“Well, that’s what we’re trying to do. It has to be the right player in the market to make us much better. We are very much looking forward to that. We need to improve with the players that we have. And we want to improve, for sure, we want that.” Arteta said.
