Chelsea forward Joao Pedro says he is fully committed to the club and has gone on to demonstrate that by signing a long contract extension with the club. (Scroll down to watch video)
Pedro extended his contract with the Blues to 2034 with the arrangement officially announced by the club on Saturday, August 22.
The move comes ahead of the 2026-2027 season where Chelsea take on Fulham on Monday, August 24 in its opening game of the campaign.
Pedro joined the club from Brighton and Hove Albion and was the club’s best player last season after registering 20 goals and nine assists in 50 games in all competitions.
“I am very happy to sign a new contract with Chelsea. I always dreamed of playing for a big club, and it means a lot to me to give my long-term commitment to this club.”

“Everyone is very excited for this season. We know we can achieve a lot of things, we have a great team, we have a coach who wants to win and has won already. I am fully committed” Joao Pedro said to the club’s media.
