Egypt captain Mohamed Salah will be officially unveiled as a Trabzonspor player on Thursday, August 6, after completing his move to the Turkish Super Lig club.
Trabzonspor confirmed the announcement on its X account after Salah successfully completed his medical. (Scroll down to read the full statement.)
The 34-year-old arrived in Türkiye on Wednesday, August 5, to finalise the transfer as a free agent after leaving Liverpool at the end of the 2025-2026 season.
Salah leaves Anfield as one of the club’s greatest players, having won two Premier League titles, two League Cups, the UEFA Champions League, the FA Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup. He also claimed the Premier League Golden Boot four times during his spell with the Reds.

Salah was spotted wearing a Trabzonspor jersey with a section of the statement released by Trabzonspor stating that,

“Our new signing Mohamed Salah, a signing ceremony will be held at Papara Park on Thursday, August 6. We invite all our fans to our home Papara Park with their new season jerseys to witness history.”
