Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team captain Jordan Ayew has landed on the transfer radar of Cypriot club APOEL.
This development was reported by Cyprus based media outlet protathlima with the veteran forward still without a club at the time of writing after his contract with Leicester City ended following the conclusion of the 2026-2027 season.
Jordan Ayew is a free agent who has spent a bulk of his career playing for clubs in France including Olympique Marseille and Sochaux and in England including Aston Villa, Swansea and Crystal Palace.
In his final season with Leicester City, the soon to be 35 year old registered six goals and three assists in 45 games in all competitions last season.
Ayew played at the 2026 FIFA World Cup where he featured in all four Black Stars games.
