Chelsea Football Club and Ghanaian musician King Promise have announced a partnership to launch his new single alongside the club’s new home kit across Africa.
The campaign officially begins on Saturday, September 5, 2026, with the Rent Paid Football Exhibition Tournament at McDan Park in Labadi, Accra.
The celebrity and creator 7-a-side tournament will begin at 1pm and feature four teams made up of musicians, media personalities and digital creators.
Team 5Star, captained by King Promise, will face Team Dede Ayew, led by former Ghana captain Dede Ayew. Team New Media and Team DWP complete the lineup.
The tournament will feature four matches.
The event will be streamed globally with a behind the scenes mini documentary to be released afterwards.
The partnership will also support King Promise’s Rent Paid initiative, which promotes exercise, community and culture while supporting the Nungua Orphanage in his hometown through donations and community support for children aged 16 and under.
“If you came to Accra, you would see how much Chelsea has an impact, and this partnership means a lot to me,” King Promise said.
