Asante Kotoko and newly promoted Debibi United have been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for allegedly failing to publish video highlights of their Ghana Premier League match within the required 48-hour period.
The clubs have been charged with breaching Article 38(8)(d) of the GFA Premier League Regulations, 2025, following their opening league fixture at the Golden City Park in Berekum.

The September 6 match ended 2-2, with Debibi United earning a point in their historic Ghana Premier League debut.
According to the GFA, both clubs failed to publish highlights of the fixture within 48 hours of the match, resulting in the disciplinary charges. Kotoko and Debibi United have until Friday, September 11, 2026, to respond.
The GFA will determine the appropriate sanctions after considering the responses from both clubs.
