The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) will hear the Senegalese Football Federation’s appeal against the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation on Thursday, October 8, 2026, in a closed-door hearing in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The hearing will begin in the morning at CAS headquarters, with no media access because none of the parties requested a public hearing.

Representatives of the Senegalese Football Federation and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation will attend in person, while CAF will be represented by its lawyers.
The three-member panel will be chaired by French professor Gérald Simon, with Professor Luigi Fumagalli of Italy and Professor Dr. Ulrich Haas of Germany completing the panel.

Proceedings will be conducted in French and are expected to continue into the afternoon, after which the panel will begin its deliberations.
CAS says it will not issue a ruling on the day of the hearing and has not set a date for the final decision.
The dispute dates back to the AFCON 2025 final, where CAF recorded Senegal as having forfeited the match and awarded Morocco a 3-0 victory. The CAS ruling will determine whether that decision stands or whether the outcome will be revised.
