The winner of the tie will advance to the third qualifying round, where they will face either Uganda or Zambia. Uganda currently lead that tie after a 2-1 win over Zambia in the first leg.
The 3-0 victory over Mauritius also marked the Black Queens’ first competitive game scoring at least three goals since October 26, 2025, when Ghana beat Egypt 3-0 in the first leg of the 2026 WAFCON qualifying playoff.
