Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has extended his contract with the English Premier League club. The Spanish manager signed a new contract that is expected to keep him at the club till 2030.

Arteta was appointed as Arsenal manager in December 2019 initially on an interim basis and has had a successful reign at the Emirates Stadium.

Under the Spaniard, Arsenal won their first EPL title in 22 years after topping the 2025-2026 league standings. The club has won the FA Cup and three Community Shield titles.

Speaking after signing the contract, Arteta talked about his commitment to the club and how grateful he was to have this role.

“It’s a privilege to commit my future to the club and to continue to work with exceptional people who want the best for Arsenal.”
