Hull City maintained their unbeaten home record this season after Mohamed Belloumi came off the bench to score a second-half equaliser in a 2-2 draw against Everton at the MKM Stadium.
The Algerian winger struck in the 74th minute to earn Hull a point after Everton had overturned the hosts’ lead and moved ahead through Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Thierno Barry.
Hull had taken the lead in the 49th minute when Joe Gelhardt capitalised on a poor pass from Ainsley Maitland-Niles. Sorba Thomas intercepted the ball before Gelhardt finished past Jordan Pickford.
Everton responded quickly, with Maitland-Niles making amends by delivering a cross that Dewsbury-Hall headed home at the back post in the 55th minute.

The visitors then took control of the scoreline in the 68th minute. Thomas lost possession, allowing Dewsbury-Hall to release Barry, who finished confidently to put Everton 2-1 ahead.
Hull refused to surrender their home record, however, and found a response through Belloumi, who had entered the game as a substitute.
Elliot Stroud created the opening with a cut-back, allowing Belloumi to fire past Pickford and restore parity with 16 minutes remaining.

The result extended Hull’s unbeaten home start to the season and denied Everton a victory despite their second-half comeback.
For Hull, Belloumi’s contribution proved decisive in preserving their strong home form. Everton, meanwhile, were left to reflect on a match in which they recovered from an early setback and briefly took the lead, only to be pegged back by the hosts.
