Manchester United forward Bryan Mbeumo says the team are disappointed after conceding a late equaliser in their 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.
Mbeumo put United ahead in the 73rd minute with his third goal of the season, but Tottenham struck back in stoppage time through Dominic Solanke to snatch a point.
United had a numerical advantage after Spurs midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur was sent off in the 78th minute, but failed to hold on for the win. Mbeumo expressed his disappointment with the result.
“We took time to get into the game, but we played well in the second half. In the first half, that wasn’t us, we had to change. We tried to get at them. We know Spurs have good players who can be dangerous.”

“It’s a bit disappointing, we need to work on things. We need to keep going forward, as we have a lot of games” Mbeumo said to Sky Sports after the game.

Tottenham are still winless six games into the league with three draws and three losses.
