Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca says his side must deliver a perfect performance to beat Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the UEFA Champions League.
City host the reigning champions at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday, October 14, looking to maintain their strong start under Maresca.
City have won all eight of their matches across competitions this season, but Maresca believes they will need to be at their best to overcome PSG, who have won the Champions League twice in the past two years.
“They won the last two Champions Leagues, so that shows how good they are. We need the perfect game because they are the best team in Europe in this moment.”
“I think we are for sure a good team, no doubts about that. We need to improve many things for sure – the way we try to attack and defend, no doubt we need to improve” Maresca said ahead of the game.
