Bayern Munich stormed back from a two goal deficit at half time to salvage a draw against Norwegian minnows Vikings FK in the UEFA Champions League.
The German giants managed to secure a 3-3 draw with the Norwegian side but that didn’t stop Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany from delivering a blistering assessment of French star Michael Olise’s behavior that got him sent off. (Scroll down to watch video)
Olise, who is one of the front runners to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or Award, was shown two yellow cards in quick succession in the 74th minute.
At the time of his dismissal, Bayern had battled back to score a 3-2 lead with a brace from Harry Kane and a goal from Luis Diaz.
However, Herman Johan Haugen got the equaliser for Viking in the 90th minute and Kompany wasn’t happy with the result and Olise’s dismissal.

“At the moment, it feels like every chance for the opponents leads to a goal. That’s no excuse, though, because we’re causing these situations ourselves.”

“Things like this shouldn’t happen. It makes it difficult to win matches. The sending-off was obviously stupid, and we’ve spoken about it quite clearly” Kompany said to the club’s media.
