Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has aired his concern over an injury to winger Bukayo Saka picked up in the Gunners’ UEFA Champions League game against Bayern Munich.
Saka was subbed off in the 10th minute in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Bayern in Germany in an entertaining game.
The English winger was suspected to have suffered a thigh injury; he was replaced by Eberechi Eze who scored the opening goal of the game 15 minutes after stepping off the bench.
Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane underlined his credentials to win the Ballon d’Or by scoring and providing an assist.
Speaking to TNT Sports after the game, Arteta highlighted the high quality shown by both teams and Saka’s injury.

“That is one of the highest levels we played. Two teams who wanted to press each other and wanted to attack and wanted to play. It was a fascinating game.”

“We started the game incredibly well, we were so dominant. Then we had to adapt without Saka…a bit concerned. A player who has to come off with a really sharp pain is never good news” Arteta said.
