Real Madrid produced a dominant first-half display to beat Racing Santander 3-0 away from home in their LaLiga Matchday 11 encounter at the Campos de Sport de El Sardinero on Sunday.
Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 11th minute before Jude Bellingham doubled the advantage ten minutes later, finishing off a well-worked attacking move involving Mbappé and Arda Güler.
Yan Diomande made it 3-0 in the 36th minute with a fine right-footed strike from outside the penalty area following a corner, giving Madrid a comfortable advantage at the break.
Madrid maintained their attacking threat after half-time, creating further opportunities to extend their lead. Bellingham had a late effort ruled out for offside, while substitute Endrick also missed a chance to add to the scoreline.

Reflecting on the performance, Madrid manager José Mourinho praised his players’ commitment and improvement, saying the team was continuing to grow.
“The team is growing and playing well… We’re improving,” Mourinho said after the match.
Despite the defeat, Racing coach José Alberto López was encouraged by his side’s response after the interval, although he acknowledged that Madrid’s opening goal had given the visitors confidence.
“I really liked the reaction the team showed after half-time,” López said.

Madrid dominated the attacking statistics, recording 22 shots, seven on target, compared to Racing’s 10 attempts, with only one on target. They also enjoyed 54 per cent possession.
The victory takes Real Madrid to 27 points, keeping them third in the LaLiga standings, while Racing Santander sit 16th with 11 points.
Madrid will now turn their attention to a demanding week, beginning with a UEFA Champions League trip to AEK Athens before returning to domestic action against Valencia.
