#Donkomi: Kotoko sign Sulley Ali Muniru, younger brother of Sulley Muntari

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of Sulley Muniru, younger brother of Ghana midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari.

He has signed a 2 year deal.

The 28 year old joins the Porcupine Warriors on a free transfer, having recently left Russian side FC Tombov.

The former Liberty Professionals midfielder has spent the last 7 years playing in Europe, making his biggest impact for Romanian giants CFR Cluj between 2013 and 2015.

He has also featured for Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor as well as Portuguese side Tondela.

Muniru becomes Kotoko’s 9th signing of the season, with the club having already announced the signing of Emmanuel Keyekeh, Patrick Asmah, Andrews Appau, Yussif Mubarak, Latif Anabilah, Fabio Dos Santos, Evans Adomako and Razak Abalora.

Maxwell Konadu’s men will compete in Africa while also attempting to win a record 24th Ghana Premier League title.

Kotoko will open their Ghana Premier League season with a home game against Eleven Wonders on 14th November, 2020.
