Kumasi Asante Kotoko have departed Ghana for Algeria, a little over 24 hours before their CAF Confederation Cup group stage play-offs return leg tie against ES Setif.

Kotoko left Accra  at 02:00 GMT Saturday via a Ghana Airforce chartered flight with a 21-man squad.

The Ghanaian giants have been faced with some challenges in their travel arrangements – from finances to mode of flights which delayed the trip until early Saturday morning when they eventually left.

Kumasi-based journalists, Richard Berko, posted an image of the Ghana Airforce plane the team left to Algeria with in wishing them safe travels.
