AS Roma starlet, Felix Afena-Gyan joined four players to be the only Ghanaian players with silverware at the end of the 2021/2022 football season in Otto Addo’s latest Black Stars squad.

The teenager was on the bench as Nicolò Zaniolo’s 32nd-minute strike helped José Mourinho’s side win the maiden UEFA Conference League at the expense of Feyenoord in Tirana on Wednesday night.

The trophy is also Afena-Gyan’s first major trophy as a professional player in only his first season.

But who are the other four players in the current Black Stars squad to win silverware with their respective clubs.

OSMAN BUKARI

On loan from KAA Gent, Osman Bukari played a role in FC Nantes’ success in the French Cup.

Bukari, 23, was a second-half substitute in the cup final as Nantes narrowly edged OGC Nice to the club’s fourth Coupe de France.

ELISHA OWUSU

Elisha Owusu, 24, featured four times for KAA Gent in the Belgium Cup as they surged on to victory.

Gent overpowered Vincent Kompany’s Anderlecht 4-3 on penalties to win the Belgium Cup.

Elisha Owusu was introduced in the 106th minute and helped Gent hold on to a draw to send the game to penalties which they eventually won.

KAA Gent have now won the Belgian Cup four times in the club’s history.

EDMUND ADDO

Edmund Addo is a powerhouse in the Moldovan League and a regular starter for FC Sheriff.

He featured 18 times in the Moldovan League as Sheriff Tiraspol picked up their twentieth championship title.

MOHAMMED KUDUS

Kudus Mohammed was a second-half substitute on the final day of the league season as Ajax clinched back to back titles and the club’s 36th overall after a 5-0 win over SC Heerenveen.

In an injury-laden season, Kudus played 15 times for Ajax, starting with two goals and scoring just once for Ajax Amsterdam.
