Black Stars striker Inaki Williams has spoken up about his struggles adjusting to Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team as he prepares to make his tenth appearance for the four time African champions.

Born in Spain to Ghanaian parents, Williams committed to play international football for Ghana in the lead up to the 2022 FIFA World Cup and is yet to score for the Black Stars and has generally struggled to assert himself in his outings for Ghana.

Speaking ahead of Ghana’s friendly game against Mexico at 12:30 AM on Sunday, October 15, the 29 year old Athletic Bilbao player touched on his struggles and promised to give his all to score his long awaited debut goal.

“It’s not easy for me because I don’t have a lot of matches with my teammates but this is football. I enjoy the games and I am going to do everything to score my first goal”.

He also talked about the Mexican challenge stating, “This match is not easy for us but Ghana has got very good players and I am going to enjoy the match.”
