Fully ready for tougher challenges ahead- Mohammed Kudus

Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus believes that his brilliant debut in the English Premier League with West Ham United and expects tougher challenges moving forward.

He said this after bagging the Men’s Footballer of the Year Award for the second year in a row at the Ghana Football Awards.

Kudus, who was widely praised for his speech after winning the prestigious award, was grateful for the recognition and expects more challenges to come after his fine introduction to the English top flight. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“I expect the upcoming season to be much tougher. I’ve announced myself and everyone is used to me now so they are going to come even harder. I am fully ready for it.”

After moving from Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam, the 23 year old produced 18 goals and seven assists in 48 games in all competitions last season.

His top level performances earned him second place in the West Ham Player of the Season Award votes behind top scorer Jarrod Bowen.
