Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club, Vincent Sowah-Odotei, has communicated his belief that the Phobians’ will have a competitive squad for the upcoming season.

After finishing 14th in the 18 team Ghana Premier League standings in the 2023-2024 season, Hearts have steadily signed players to replace departing ones including Glid Otanga and Ibrahim Salifu. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

At the time of writing, Hearts have signed four players including Boateng Afriyie from Nations FC, Samuel Amofah, Michael Awuah and Benjamin Asare of Accra Great Olympics despite having some difficulty securing some key targets.

Speaking in an interview with ChannelOne Sports after the handing over ceremony of the newly built Phobia House to the Phobian fraternity was conducted, the veteran administrator stated,  (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“We are on track, it is not a simple, lineal thing, there are so many factors that come into play but we think that we are trying to manage all those factors to make that by the beginning of the season, we will have the strength in squad to make sure that we are that we think that can make us competitive.”

Newly signed goalkeeper Asare kept the most clean sheets in the GPL last season.
