Head coach Nurudeen Amadu named a strong starting lineup, with Kofi Baah in goal and Ebenezer Acquah captaining the side.

Victoria United dominated the early stages but struggled to pose any real danger to Samartex’s defence.

As the match progressed, Samartex gained control and increased their possession, though they were unable to capitalize on their first-half chances.

In the second half, Samartex ramped up their attacking efforts, leading to Mamah’s match-winning goal.

Both teams battled intensely in the final minutes, but Samartex held on to secure the victory.

The Ghanaian Champions will aim to complete the job in the return leg on August 25 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
