Black Stars forward Brandon Solomon Thomas-Asante has underlined his commitment to the course of Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team.

In the lead up to Ghana’s 2025 AFCON qualifier against Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Thursday, September 5 at 16:00 GMT, the Coventry City player stated this in an interview with the media during a training session at the Accra Sports Stadium.

British born Thomas-Asante recently committed to play international football for Ghana and made his Black Stars debut in June where Ghana beat Central African Republic 4-3 in a 2026 World Cup qualifier.

“I know on the pitch, I want us to be victorious and when I come on, its more of an opportunity to make a difference. I’ve got that in my heart that I want us to be successful as a nation. I’ve seen what we’ve done in the past and we want to go on and achieve big things like that and more so I’m ready to do my bit to contribute.”
