Lyon opened the scoring just three minutes into the game through Georgian international Georges Mikautadze, who was set up by Rayan Cherki. However, Montpellier hit back in the 38th minute with an equalizer from Tanguy Coulibaly, ensuring the first half ended 1-1.

Nuamah sparked Lyon’s dominance in the second half, scoring and assisting within a three-minute span. The former FC Nordsjaelland star found the back of the net five minutes after the break before setting up Corentin Tolisso for Lyon’s third goal.

Experienced forward Alexandre Lacazette sealed the win in the 73rd minute, securing all three points for the visitors.

The 21-year-old has now scored two goals in 16 Ligue 1 appearances this season. Across all competitions, he has registered three goals and one assist in 24 matches.
