Faith Ladies have etched their names in history, securing a place in the Women’s FA Cup final for the first time after a dramatic 1-0 victory over tournament favorites Hasaacas Ladies at the McDan Sports Complex.

This triumph marks a significant breakthrough for the club, which had fallen short in four consecutive semi-final attempts.

The defining moment came in the 69th minute when Dorcas Okyere capitalized on a rare opportunity to fire home the winning goal.

The final whistle sparked jubilant celebrations as Faith Ladies, long admired for their resilience, finally shattered the barrier that had kept them from the grand stage.

Hasaacas Ladies, one of the most decorated teams in Ghanaian women’s football, were widely expected to cruise into the final. However, Faith Ladies delivered a defensive masterclass, neutralizing the attacking threats of their more experienced opponents and seizing their golden moment to complete a stunning upset.
