Communications Director of Ghana Premier League club Legon Cities, Kwame Dwomoh Agyemang, has stated that the club’s focus is on retaining its league status and nothing beyond that.
He said this while discussing the club’s future as Legon Cities are on the verge of getting relegated from the top flight division.
Legon Cities rank 17th in the 18 team league standings and are seven points adrift 16th ranked Accra Lions with four games remaining in the 2024-2025 league campaign.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports while discussing the club’s future, the veteran journalist stated that the club’s focus is on bagging big results to escape relegation.
“At this point we are not looking further beyond the four matches that we are going to be playing in the Ghana Premier League; that’s where the focus is right now.”

“As and when the season comes to an end, whatever decision we have to take as a club, with respect to player hiring and all of that, we will decide on that but at this point we are pretty much focused on…hopefully staying afloat” Dwomoh said.
