Goalkeeper for Algeria’s National Women’s Football Team at the 2024 CAF Women’s AFCON, Chloe N’Gazi, is sure her team can do big things against Ghana.
Ghana’s Black Queens take on Algeria in the quarterfinals of this year’s competition on Saturday, July 19 at 16:00 GMT with a semifinal game against host nation Morocco or Mali on the line.
N’Gazi made these comments in a pre-game interview after Algeria delivered a masterful defensive string of performances to qualify second in Group B to the knockout stage.
The North Africans didn’t concede a goal in three group games and N’Gazi was named in the CAF Best XI team at the end of the group phase and the French-born stopper is confident Algeria can do big things against Ghana stating,

“It’s a big responsibility for us but we won’t let the stress bother us; we are going to do our best. We know we can do big things and we just have to show it tomorrow.”

Ghana beat Tanzania 4-1 in its final group game to qualify to the quarterfinals.
