We are confident of victory – Ministry of Energy state ahead of Civil Service Football Final

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition, Richmond Rockson, is confident about the Ministry’s Football Team’s chances of winning the 2025 Ghana Civil Service Week Celebration Football Tournament.

The football competition is one of many activities to mark this year’s celebration of civil service in Ghana and the Ministry of Energy will take on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration in the final game on Thursday, July 24 at the Accra Sports Stadium at 14:00 GMT.

Speaking at a presser in the presence of Director-HR at the Ministry of Energy Brenda Laryea Adjapawn, Richmond Rockson, called on Ghanaians to join in the celebrations and added that his team’s win was assured.

“On behalf of the Honourable Minister John Jinapor, I wish the team very well…we are confident that tomorrow, we will bring the trophy. We are inviting all well-being Ghanaians to come to the stadium tomorrow to support the Ministry of Energy.”

Head coach of the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition’s Football Team, Kelvin Selasi Awurasie, reiterated the team’s level of confidence heading into the final.

“On the tactics side, we’ve done our homework, we’ve prepared and I believe we will be ready for the game tomorrow” he said.
