The National Para Athletics Association, in partnership with the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) of Ghana, has advanced its nationwide talent identification initiative aimed at discovering and nurturing future para athletes.
The second edition of the Zone 2 Talent Identification Program was held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the Ho Sports Stadium in the Volta Region. The event brought together over 54 aspiring athletes from Ho and nearby communities.
Participants were taken through warm-up drills and trials in various track and field events under the guidance of coaches Sowah and Botsyo Nkegbe.

At the end of the program, 14 athletes who showcased outstanding potential were selected. They will be enrolled in a national training program designed to develop their skills for future participation in both national and international competitions.
The Association expressed its appreciation to the NPC and its President, Samson Deen, for their unwavering support in driving para sports development in Ghana.
