Chelsea Football Club head coach Enzo Maresca is wary of the deep inside information Bayern Munich forward Nicolas Jackson has about his team ahead of Bayern’s clash with Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League.
The big clash kicks off tonight at 19:00 GMT at the Allianz Arena in Munich as the opening round of games in the 2025-2026 UEFA Champions League roll out.
Jackson is at the centre of attention for tonight’s game as he plays out his season-long loan move from Chelsea at the German club and Maresca was quite cautious about the amount of Chelsea information the Senegal striker could relay to Bayern.
“I don’t have any kind of problem with Nico [las Jackson]. He’s a good guy, a good professional who worked well with us. That’s it.”

“It’s a small advantage because [Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany] can ask Nico the way we work and the way we try to prepare games. He knows exactly the way we approach games” Maresca said per ESPN,

Jackson’s recent move made the headlines recently following Bayern Munich’s Honorary President Uli Hoeness’ sharp comments about the loan deal. Jackson made his Bayern Munich debut in the club’s 5-0 win over Hamburger SV. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
