Former Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo has officially become a billionaire and the Portuguese has set a new mark as the first footballer to do so. He is valued at $1.4 Billion.

Ronaldo’s new financial status was announced by Bloomberg Billionaires Index having tracked the football icon’s wealth base.

40 year old Ronaldo, who plays for Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, has had his wealth shoot up sharply following his super lucrative move to the Saudi Arabia club after falling out with Manchester United in 2022.

The move had Ronaldo earn 177 Million Pounds before signing a new deal earlier this year after his first contract with Al-Nassr run out.

Ronaldo’s new deal has him earning an improved financial package from Al-Nassr that is reportedly worth 298 million Pounds across a two year stretch.
