For the first time in his career as Manchester United head coach, Ruben Amorim has been nominated for the Barclays Manager of the Month Award.

Amorim is part of a four man list in the running for the award; Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta, Unai Emery and Andoni Iraola of Arsenal, Aston Villa and AFC Bournemouth made the list for the monthly award in October.

After a rocky start to the 2025-2026 season, Man United hit its stride in the month of October by scoring three wins in three English Premier League games.

The Red Devils beat Sunderland 2-1, Liverpool 2-1 and Brighton and Hove Albion 4-2 ahead of Man United’s game against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, November 1.

The run marks the first time Man United has recorded three straight wins under the Portuguese coach who replaced Erik Ten Hag.

Man United’s brilliant run in October has pushed the club to sixth place at the time of writing with 16 points from five wins, a draw and three losses. Arsenal lead the standings with 22 points.
