Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo says getting better at scoring more goals from the back post is what he needs to work on to take his game to the next level.

He said this in an interview with Sky Sports as the Black Stars player continues to impress at AFC Bournemouth who rank fourth in the EPL standings at the time of writing.

The 25 year old has six goals and three assists in 11 games in all competitions but believes that perfecting his runs to the back post would get him to score more goals.

“For me, it’s making the back post…[Mohamed] Salah-like, Brennan Johnson-like always in the right place at the right time. I like scoring my goals outside the box, dribbling in the box and finishing but you can get extra five, six goals playing at the back post.”

“I am working on that this year and hopefully I can get as many as I can. Just anticipating a little bit more for me” Semenyo said.
