Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden has described the club’s English Premier League game against Leeds United as one of the wildest the Cityzens have been involved in.

He said this after Man City beat Leeds United 3-2 with Foden scoring twice in the win; Foden steered Matheus Nunes’ cross into the net in the first minute and scored the winning goal in the 91st minute after slamming the ball from inside the penalty box into the net.

Man City looked in control after taking a 2-0 in the first half but conceded twice in the second half including a converted penalty from Lukas Nmecha in the 63rd minute.

Speaking to the BBC after the game, the English midfielder commented that despite the win, Man City can improve by stating,

“It’s up there as one of the wildest games. We had full control in the first half.”

“They changed their system in the second half and we couldn’t get going. There are still things we can improve. We’re delighted with the result. The belief and togetherness came through at the end.
