Next year’s World Cup will be held in the United States of America, Mexico and Canada and while reflecting on his time competing and dealing with the heat in the USA during the 1994 World Cup, Guardiola shared his desire for England to win the World Cup.
“Some parts of the [United] States, in Mexico, it will happen in summertime, it’s hot. I would like England to be there [to win the World Cup].”

“I’ve been here for many years and being part of that country, I would love [if] Thomas [Tuchel] and the people can make the last step and do it” Guardiola said according to the BBC.

Ghana will take on England on June 23 next year in the first meeting between the two nations in the World Cup.
