Liverpool FC head coach Arne Slot says the team has to adopt a wait and see approach regarding matters on Alexander Isak’s latest injury.
The former Newcastle striker scored in Liverpool’s 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspurs at the Tottenham Stadium for the Reds’ sixth win in a row in all competitions.
Isak replaced Conor Bradley in the 46th minute and went on to score the game’s opening goal 10 minutes after but injured himself while scoring the goal.
He was eventually replaced by Jeremie Frimpong and speaking after the game that had Spurs’ players Xavi Simons and Cristian Romero red carded to the BBC, Arne Slot said,
“We’ll have to wait and see. It is too short after the game to speak about it but it is never good when a player has to come off.”

“The other two [Isak and Bradley] we’ll have to wait and see. The good thing is that we have a week to go so hopefully we have enough players available to play next week again.”

Liverpool played without Mohamed Salah who has joined Egypt’s camp for the 2025 AFCON in Morocco.
