Ghana winger Joseph Paintsil says it feels good but competitive to play with his teammates at the Los Angeles Galaxy.

He said this in an exclusive interview on Citi FM’s Sports Panorama while discussing what life is playing teammates like Gabriel Pec, Riqui Puig and Marco Reus.

Paintsil’s brilliant partnership with Puig and Pec led to the trio getting the nickname “The 3 P’s” after they played a huge role in leading LA Galaxy to win the 2024 MLS Cup.

Describing the relationship he has with his fellow forwards, the Black Stars player said it was good playing with such players but it did come with a lot of competitiveness.

“It feels good but we always fight on the field which is really normal.”

“We love each other but on the field of play, it’s competitive. It’s really amazing…and that is something that we had last season (in 2024) that made us the champions. This [upcoming] season we are all healthy and we are going to come back in January…to focus and win another cup to leave a legacy in LA Galaxy” Paintsil said.

Despite battling injuries in his second season, Paintsil recorded double figures in goals (14) and three assists in 32 games in all competitions. Scroll down to watch video
