Public Relations Officer of Swedru All Blacks Nathaniel Obeng is confident that the appointment of Kassim Ocansey Mingle as head coach of the club will mark the start of better fortunes for All Blacks striker Rudolf Mensah.
He said this in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports ahead of the club’s MTN FA Cup Round of 16 stage game against Nations FC in Kumasi.
After scoring 27 goals in 30 games to aid All Blacks qualify to the Ghana Premier League, Mensah has largely struggled to replicate his form.
At the time of writing, the former Liberty Professionals player has scored four goals in 19 league games but Nathaniel Obeng believes having Kassim Mingle as head coach will change Mensah’s fortunes.

“Having Kassim Mingle, who is a national team coach (Black Galaxies) handling Rudolf Mensah, I’m very optimistic that we are going to see a lot more from Rudolf Mensah in the coming games. He is a good player, good striker and aside that he is a leader on the field of play.”

“He is the type of striker you would love to have in your team and I’m not surprised that majority of Ghanaians are asking the technical handlers of the Black Stars to give him a slot in the World Cup. He is one of the best players in our league” Obeng said.
