Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique has sounded the alarm on the need for his team to regain its confidence after suffering a huge loss.

PSG lost 3-1 at home to AS Monaco in the French League ahead of the Paris club’s tricky UEFA Champions League tie against Chelsea.

The defending UEFA Champions League winners take on Chelsea in the round of 16 stage on Wednesday, March 11 but have been in indifferent form since the start of the year.

After falling to Monaco, Luis Enrique sounded caution to his team as PSG look to make a deep run in the premier European competition.

“It’s a particular and difficult moment, the kind that happens in every season.”

“It’s hard to change, but we’ll have to correct it and try to regain the feeling to improve our performances, because we’re about to continue with the Champions League and it will be important to regain our confidence” Enrique said to the club’s media.
