Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has been voted as the English Premier League Player of the Year for the 2025-2026 Season with a game left on the calendar.
He beat out competition from the likes of Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya and outfield players Gabriel Magalhaes and Declan Rice and Manchester City forwards Erling Haaland and Ghana’s Antoine Semenyo to win the title.
Rice, Raya and defender Gabriel Magalhaes excelled in Arsenal’s league title triumph marking the first league win for the Gunners in 22 years. Raya won the Golden Glove Award for the third year in a row for keeping the most clean sheets.
This is the latest award win for Bruno Fernandes this season after emerging as the winner of the Football Writers’ Association Player of the Year Award earlier this month.
The Portuguese midfielder won his latest individual trophy after votes from fans and a panel of experts were combined.

The 31 year old has registered eight goals and a league record tying 20 assists this campaign ahead of Man United’s season ending game against Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday, May 24 where he gets the chance to establish a new assist record.

Against Brighton, Fernandes also gets the chance to improve on his league leading 132 chance creation tally which at the time of writing is 43 chances created more than Liverpool’s Dominik Szoboszlai who ranks second on the list this season.
