Paul Pogba has left French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco after just one season with the club, thanking the team for the opportunity.
The former Manchester United midfielder made only six appearances for Monaco as injuries continued to limit his playing time.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner has struggled with injuries since returning to Juventus for a second spell. He is currently recovering from a thigh injury after previously dealing with a knee problem.
“I would like to thank the President and the management, my teammates, all the staff and all the fans who believed in me. Representing this Club and the Principality was an incredible experience.”

“AS Monaco is an exceptional club and, even if I haven’t played as many games as I hoped, I will always remain grateful to have had the opportunity to wear its colours. Daghe Munegu!” Pogba said.

The French international is a free agent following his release from Monaco.
