English defender Ezri Konsa says winning multiple titles is the reason behind his decision to sign for English Premier League champions Arsenal.

He said this in his official interview as an Arsenal player after his move from Aston Villa was confirmed on Friday, August 21.

The 28 year old who can play as a right full back, signed a four year deal for 51 million pounds with four million pounds in potential add-ons.

He joins Arsenal after winning the Europa League with Villa and winning bronze with England at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

After signing his deal, Konsa said the chance be a serial winner drove him to join the Gunners.

“I want to keep winning, I’m hungry to win and that’s what I’m here for.”

“I can do both jobs, right-back and centre-back, but for me ultimately, wherever the manager wants to put me is, I’ll always do a job and do my best” Konsa said.
