Derby County Football Club head coach John Eustace has praised the addition of Ghana forward Mohammed Fuseini to the club.
He said this to the club’s media after Fuseini joined the English Football League (EFL) Championship side Derby on a loan deal with an option to buy at the conclusion of the 2026-2027 season.
Black Stars forward Fuseini joined Derby from Belgium Jupiler Pro League side Union Saint-Gilliosie where he won the league title and Belgium Cup and scored three goals in 27 games in all competitions.
Fuseini was one of four players that joined Derby County in the recently shut main football transfer window and Eustace welcomed Fuseini’s signing by stating,
“Mo’s really direct, very quick. He can score goals as well so it gives us another option in one them of forward areas.”

24 year old Fuseini was on the verge of joining EFL Championship Birmingham City but the deal collapsed; Fuseini scored his only goal for Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team in the 2025 Unity Cup.
