Ghana forward Mohammed Fuseini says he is delighted to score his first goal for Derby County since joining the club. (Scroll down to watch the interview)
Fuseini came off the bench to score Derby’s 93rd-minute equaliser in their 1-1 draw with Burnley in the EFL Championship at Turf Moor.
The Black Stars forward was introduced in the 65th minute before racing onto a pass and firing into the bottom-left corner to level the game.
Fuseini joined Derby from Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise on a season-long loan and was pleased to open his account in England.
“I came in as a number 10 to run in behind a lot…then I had to move on to the wings. What the coach told me is to make runs and then play my football and then I did and I got a goal so I’m really pleased with that.”
“It was a really nice goal. I think it was a good strike from me” Fuseini said after the game to the club’s media.
