Pro Basketball Association has launched the maiden edition of the Ghana Diaspora Allstar games.
The event will be held at the Lincoln Community School on Sunday, 29th December 2019.
PBA partners with the Office of the President, Diaspora Affairs for the inaugural basketball festival.
Addressing the media, the Operations Manager of the Pro Basketball Association (PBA) said the event is geared towards the development of basketball in the country.
“We are partnering with the Office of the President, Diaspora Affairs because is the year of return. We want to use basketball to promote the development and as such we will be soliciting for funds for the renovation of community basketball courts and supplying items to the less privilege.”
PBA unveiled the kits for the two competing sides. Team Ghana will face off with Team World on the day of the event.
The Ghanaian team consists of players living in the country whereas Team World comprises Ghanaians living in the diaspora.
